All students are required by the College to wear their student ID when on Campus.
Students using their College library need their ID cards for borrowing, logging in to PCs, buying printing credit and have passwords reset, to name just a few reasons.
In Moreton Morrell College library today we decided to have a bit of fun but with a serious message, and carry out a head count of those students coming in to the library wearing their ID visible around their neck… until we reached the 200th person, who we then ‘grabbed’ as our prize winner.
Well done Kelly for wearing your ID!

Last academic year during revision and exams, £33,526 worth of stock was unavailable to students because it had not been returned on time.
Claire Roberts from Henley and Holly Scott from Rugby have each won an ipod shuffle for their ideas on how to encourage the return of resources on time.

The FE Fresher’s Fair at Moreton Morrell on 11th September was a great success and much enjoyed by the staff and students who attended. The Library team were on hand to welcome new students, offering information about Library services and giving away some fun freebies too! The most popular items were the “100% farmer” badges and tractor posters, along with free magazines from across all the subject areas.
Whilst everyone was a winner on the day with the free tombola, two lucky students managed to secure themselves some top notch prizes. Thomas Jeffs successfully completed the ‘Name that Film’ quiz to win a DAB Radio, and Ceola Reece scored 100% in her equine trivia entry to win a years subscription to Horse magazine. Congratulations to our winners and we are looking forward to seeing more of all the new students in the Library over the coming year!
